Firefighters were battling a blaze on Monday evening at the Polanco Brothers Laundromat on Broadway.
Heavy smoke and fire at the rear of the building of 506 Broadway was observed at around 6:30 p.m.
Firefighter searched the three-story building’s upper floor for possible entrapment. Search yielded negative result.
Fire reached second alarm and was extinguished before 8 p.m.
