Watching the Mayoral debate was interesting. I am sorry to say, but most of the candidates appeared incompetent and not fit for the position. No disrespect, but Michael Jackson did not look prepared. Residents should question his commitment. Alex Mendez made no sense, looked discombobulated and presented no solution or even a plan as to what he's going to do as Mayor. Pedro Rodriguez appears to have an urgency in wanting to provide an opportunity for decreasing the incarceration rate of young people. However, he failed to establish an in-depth argument explaining the program he wants to create. Alex Cruz did not present a good case why he should be elected. You would think years on the police force that he could give facts as to how he helped clean up the city, but he did not. He mostly rambled about what he's going to do. William McKoy is a seasoned politician with years experience, but after 20 years of service, safety is still a real concern. He's an example of why politicians like him need to go. Mr. McKoy has not reduced or fixed the problem for two decades. Why should anyone believe he will fix it in four.?The person most fit for the position is Andre Sayegh. He presented facts as to how he cleaned up the 6th ward. Residents should want the same for the entire community. It only makes sense to vote for this guy.
