Two city men were wounded in a shooting on 12th Avenue early Wednesday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police said the victims, 29-year-old and 23-year-old men, arrived at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center at around 3:25 a.m. seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds.
Authorities said police responded to report of a shooting on 12th Avenue and East 23rd Street, located a crime scene, but were unable to locate victims. A short time later, police were advised both victims had arrived at the hospital.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
