A city man was arrested and charged with first-degree attempted murder on Saturday for allegedly shooting a 15-year-old boy on 11th Avenue, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Isaiah Snead, 18, is also charged with second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of a handgun for an unlawful purpose. He allegedly shot the victim in the area of 11th Avenue and East 28th Street on June 8, 2019, authorities said.
Police said the boy sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds.
If convicted, Snead faces 10-20 years in state prison for the first-degree attempted murder charge. He could face a maximum of 20 years for the weapons offenses.
