Nineteen candidates have submitted paperwork to vie for six City Council seats in the May municipal elections.

Each of the six ward seats are up for grabs in the election.

All the candidates have been certified except for Brown and Mayson, according to the City Clerk.

The three at-large seats currently held by Maritza Davila, Lilisa Mimms, and Flavio Rivera are not up for grabs this year. All three seats are up for grabs in 2022.

Election is scheduled for May 12.
