Paterson getting almost $140,000 for police training, equipment

The city is getting $138,796 in federal grant funding for police training and equipment, announced Rep. Bill Pascrell.

Funds from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program can be used to purchase needed equipment, training, and other resources.

“These past two years have been especially trying for North Jersey’s first responders. Now more than ever they need federal support like this,” said Pascrell, co-chair of the Congressional Law Enforcement Caucus. “For years I fought to protect and expand the Byrne JAG program so local departments like those in Paterson, Passaic, and Clifton could have the lifesaving resources they need.”

Passaic City is getting $48,668 and Clifton is getting $15,705 through the same grant program.

Pascrell supports ANTIFA/BLM terrorists. He despises cops but his lowlife son works for the firm that will supply the equipment so he'll get his kickback. All Democrats are scum.

Billy has supported firemen, police and veterans with grants for decades. They are his real constituents. Everyone else in Paterson he could care less about. He hasn't helped the city for the four decades he's been at the public trough and will be collecting several pensions at our expense. Time to retire octogenarian, but whom are you grooming to replace you? Benji, another trough feeder?
