A 51-year-old man from Passaic City was shot near Carroll Street and Pearl Street in Paterson early Monday morning, according to police.

The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound. Police responded to the scene at approximately 1:47 a.m. and identified a potential crime scene in the area.
