A man was wounded in a shooting in Paterson at approximately 10 p.m. on Friday.

Members of the police were dispatched to the area of Ryle Avenue and Ryle Road on report of the incident. Upon arrival, police found a 36-year-old male victim from Paterson.

The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds. Police were able to locate a potential crime scene in the area.
