A man who was standing on the corner of East 23rd Street and Park Avenue was shot by a cyclist on Sunday evening, according to Paterson Police.
The victim, 30-year-old, was shot in the face and in the thigh, after a bicyclist passed him, while firing rounds out of a weapon, at around 6pm on Sunday.
The cyclist was dressed in a dark hoodie, according to police. After shooting the victim the suspect fled the scene on his bike through East 23rd Street. The victim was taken to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, where he is being treated for the wounds.
Police are investigating the incident.
