A single-alarm fire at a vacant 17th Avenue house was extinguished early Monday morning, according to deputy fire chief Pablo Del Valle.
Fire at 175 17th Avenue was reported at about 12:57 a.m. Firefighters observed flames on the second floor of the two-story building that extended to the upper floor of the structure.
Del Valle said there were no injuries or displacements. He said firefighters searched the inside of the building, but did not locate anyone.
Cause of the fire remains under investigation, said the deputy chief.
