David Gilmore, city activist, attacked his opponents during a candidate forum at the Christopher Hope Center on Monday evening.
The city’s African-American “elites” met last week in the basement of a church on East 22nd Street to decide on a candidate they can back without letting few members of the Black community entry, according to those who attended.
During an online radio program on Friday, Jeffrey Jones, the city’s current mayor, responded to some of the attacks levied against his administration by David Gilmore, an activist and mayoral candidate.
Aslon Goow, the former 2nd Ward councilman, has set his eyes on the 2014 mayoral election for Paterson’s top job. During an interview with PolitickerNJ, when asked whether he will run in next year’s race, Goow responded, “Yes, I am.”
